YMCA Y Mind programs for Youth and Adults

Y Mind Youth is a free seven-week program delivered across BC. Y Mind Youth supports people ages 18-30 who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety to learn and practice evidence-based strategies to increase coping. This group is led by trained mental health professionals and gives young adults the chance to connect with others who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. Made possible through our funding partners.
Y Mind Adult is a free, online, seven-week program open to those aged 31 and up who are experiencing stress and mild to moderate anxiety. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies to increase coping. This group is led by trained mental health professionals and gives adults the chance to connect with others who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. It is held online via Zoom three times a year with priority given to Lower Mainland residents but may accept individuals elsewhere from BC if space is available. Accepts self-referrals; no diagnosis of anxiety is required. Made possible through our funding partners.
